The latest version of Garmin’s popular GPSMAP x3 series is a full HD 16-inch touchscreen display, the 16X3. An in-plane switching (IPS) display provides consistent, accurate colors that can be seen from all viewing angles, even with polarized sunglasses. A powerful high-speed processor enhances the unit’s sonar and radar capabilities, and you can easily build an onboard marine system with compatible sonar, autopilot, radars, instruments, cameras and more by using NMEA® 2000 and the Garmin Marine Network.
Connectivity and Integration
The 16X3 comes with built-in Wi-Fi, which enables reliable software updates, smart notifications and more via the free ActiveCaptain app with a compatible smartphone. The GPSMAP xsv series offers built-in sonar with support for ClearVü™ and SideVü™ scanning sonar, with vivid, high-contrast color palettes to help distinguish fish from structure, along with CHIRP traditional sonar.
