The Legacy of Walker’s Cay
Walker’s Cay is the northernmost and most western island in the Abaco chain of The Bahamas. It is approximately 100 miles due east of Stuart, Florida. For over fifty years, Walker’s Cay has been a legendary fishing resort known by fishermen worldwide as the premier, deep-sea fishing location. The rebirth of Walker’s Cay is underway thanks to philanthropist and marlin fishing enthusiast, Carl Allen, along with his wife, Gigi. In 2021, the Allen’s re-opened the island for its first tournament in nearly two decades. Carl Allen, had this to say: “There is truly no better sight in the world than a full marina at Walker’s Cay.”
