Blue Water Desalination’s Legend series of fully automatic watermakers can now be monitored and controlled through both Garmin and Raymarine multi-function touchscreen displays. This integration is achieved by utilizing the Boening Chartplotter Gateway, enabling Legend watermakers to be controlled through the Garmin OneHelm™ or Raymarine Lighthouse user interfaces.
One of the company’s best-selling products, the Legend series is a fully automatic watermaker available in both compact and modular configurations, capable of producing 475-1,850 gallons per day (1,800-7,000 liters per day).

Seamless Integration for Effortless Watermaker Control
Users of this new interface can remotely monitor and control their Legend watermaker without a separate wired remote. Through the yacht’s multi-function OneHelm™ or Lighthouse-capable displays, users can:
✔ Start and stop fresh water production from the helm station
✔ Monitor system status, including pressures, flows, product water quality, and system warnings
The use of multi-function displays eliminates the need for a separate wired remote, reducing installation costs and saving valuable real estate on the helm console. This feature will be available on all Legend units produced in 2025 and beyond.
