Congratulations to our own Pat Healey on his induction into the 2026 International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame, the organization’s highest distinction.
The IGFA recognized Healey, President and CEO of Viking Yacht Company, for exemplifying leadership “at the intersection of sportfishing, conservation and industry advancement,” and for his steadfast commitment to sustainable fisheries and angler access.
We are proud to see Pat celebrated among this year’s distinguished inductees.
A Legacy of Leadership in Sportfishing
“I’m honored to be included in the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame,” said Healey. “To be mentioned alongside legends like Ernest Hemingway and so many others who shaped our sport is humbling. Fishing has always been a passion of mine, and this recognition reflects the incredible team at Viking who share that passion and work every day to support the sport and protect our fisheries.”
Healey’s leadership at Viking has consistently reinforced the company’s long-standing role in advancing offshore performance, tournament competition and responsible fisheries stewardship.
2026 IGFA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri.
Healey will join the ranks of legendary figures such as Zane Grey and George H.W. Bush, further cementing his place among the most influential names in sportfishing history.
