Full-time Mate 72′ Merritt

Seeking a professional sportfishing mate/deckhand for a private family operation.
The vessel is a late model 72’ Merritt. The ideal candidate will have an “attention
to detail” approach while maintaining the boat inside and out to pristine condition.
The boat travels to exclusive fishing destinations for approximately 3-5 months a
year. When the boat is not traveling, you will need to be dedicated to boat maintenance and occasionally day fishing from Florida.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Need to be a Broward or South Palm Beach County resident. (Live within 50 miles of Pompano Beach, Fl) 
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional sportfishing deckhand
• Excellent people skills- polite, clean cut and well spoken
• High priority for keeping boat in 10 out of 10 condition
• Proficient Mate skills- includes bottom fishing, kite fishing, swordfishing and wiring marlin
• Non-smoker
• Willing to work as a single mate

START: ASAP

SALARY: $60K plus depends on experience
