BlueWater Chairs‘ New Hybrid Table

Need more space? BlueWater Chairs has developed a removable hybrid table system that secures to the striking arms (with fitted mounts) of any brand fighting chair. The teak tray, with a durable and functional starboard worktop, offers a multitude of uses. These include additional space to set rigging gear, prep bait or even serve snacks — at the dock or offshore.

With a cutting board, tackle drawer, cup holders and pass-through cup/rod holders, this system adds a new dimension to your fighting chair. When the battle begins, it is quickly and easily removed. Padded non-slip feet mean the table can be relocated anywhere. On the ride in, it’s a perfect serving tray in the galley (or anywhere!) to prep and present your fresh catch.

Daiwa‘s New Tanacom 1200 Reel

Meet the new champ in power assist reels. The Tanacom 1200 is an upgraded design built on the Tanacom Series’ stellar reputation. In short, the 1200 is easier to operate and offers more power and speed than its predecessors, vastly improving the angling experience while kite fishing, deep-dropping or bottom-fishing. Improvements include holding an astounding 1,100 yards of 80-pound test Daiwa J-Braid, a 30-percent faster retrieval rate at a quick 110m/min and 20 percent more power with 11.0 kg. Another big plus is repositioning the motor and gearing inside the spool itself, which delivers outstanding performance. Kite-fishing fans will appreciate the oversized line guide aperture which is big enough to let swivels and large knots pass through. $799.

Gill Fishing Launches New Footwear Collection

An all-new collection of high-performance fishing deck boots delivers everything anglers need: sticky grip, reliable waterproof protection, rugged durability and comfortable cushioning. Two new styles are available now.

The Hydro Short Boot ($94.95) is a comfortable and nimble ankle boot. Anglers can move confidently on wet decks thanks to the boot’s non-slip, razor-cut soles that generate maximum traction and low-profile outsoles that provide maximal contact area. A thermal-regulating neoprene lining wicks moisture, cools feet in hot conditions and softens impacts.

The Hydro Mid Boot ($115) was designed for anglers who need a higher boot. Gill combined the lower short boot portion with a neoprene upper that delivers complete waterproof protection while wicking moisture and regulating temperature. The flexible neoprene upper can be rolled down.
