Jan 14, 2015 As hoped for, this past strong “cold front” provided the first major push of Sailfish and bait into nearby waters. Droves of Sardines have fueled hungry sails the past 2 days to provide some good action for the fleet with a few boats releasing around 30 fish/day. Cutting fish as well as a consistent troll bite have kept anglers and crews busy and calm seas have eased the efforts. Several boats arrived today from Key West with the nice weather and more set to arrive tomorrow. Winds appear to remain light over the next few days and hopefully the good fishing continues.
