This project came in for a repower. The owner was so pleased with one upgrade that it led to others, and the vessel underwent one of the most thorough refits performed at Jarrett Bay. Engines of choice for the repower were a pair of V12 common rail MAN diesels producing 1,550 horsepower each. A new transducer, a Seakeeper 9 gyro stabilizer and a Cat C2.2 Genset filled the engine room. Below the waterline, new prop shafts, cutlass bearings, seals and tuned Wildcat props rounded out the new power train.
An all-new hardtop designed and installed by Palm Beach Towers topped it off. Additionally, there is new A/V equipment everywhere, the galley was upgraded from charter duty to modern luxury and the cockpit was completely retrofitted. Every inch of the boat was repainted, including out-of-sight areas in the bilge, under bunks, the anchor locker, and the engine and mechanical rooms, all capped off with a faux teak transom.
